Jonathan Lenz PA-C
Jonathan became interested in a career in healthcare during his junior year of high school, when his late grandfather, a physician in the Spokane area, encouraged him to consider medicine due to his strong interest in science. After earning his bachelor’s degree in Helena, Montana, Jonathan returned to his hometown and began working as an inpatient phlebotomist, where he discovered his passion for providing exceptional patient care.
Jonathan’s inspiration grew further through the care his late father received from his Physician Assistant after being diagnosed with melanoma. During his dermatology rotation in PA school at the local VA in Spokane, Jonathan’s education and interest in skin and wound care came full circle when he was precepted by the same PA who had treated his father years earlier.
Throughout the rest of his PA education and training, Jonathan had several encounters that ultimately led him to United Wound Healing, where he discovered a newfound passion for wound care.
Jonathan enjoys spending time in the Inland Northwest with his wife and their recently adopted black lab, Ziggy. He has a passion for cooking, particularly making homemade pizza and BBQ. Each summer, Jonathan volunteers at Camp Goodtimes, where he teaches pediatric oncology patients and their families how to fish. When he’s not in the kitchen or on the water, he can often be found at his local municipal golf course, where he’s always up for a round. In addition, Jonathan is still determined to dunk a basketball in his 30s, and he plays whenever his body allows it.
